Aslag Torekoven Dec. 15, 1858 in Odda, Hardanger, Norway - Aug. 5, 1944 Radcliffe, Iowa) and Gurina Amundson (b. Gurina Øyna, Øine Aug. 5, 1871 in Odda, Hardanger, Norway - Jan. 13, 1941. Other names for Gurina were Gurina Oddsdtr and Julia Johnson.

Eamel and Gertie Wierson were married Sept 8, 1920.

Gertie married Eamel Wierson on Sep. 8, 1920. Gertie was 16 yrs. old and Eamel was almost 20 yrs. old. Gertie and Eamel lived in Radcliffe, Iowa most of their married life. They did live in Waterloo for a time and returned to Radcliffe. Gertie was a homemaker. Gertie, Eamel and daughter, Hazel, moved in with her parents so Gertie could be their caregiver during their last years. Gertie had a stroke at a young age.
