Augustus C. Moats, a well-known citizen of Luther, died at that place Sunday morning at 9:45 o'clock from typhoid fever. The deceased was forty one years of age and leaves a wife and four children. The funeral took place Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the M.E. church in Luther and the remains laid to rest in the Clark cemetery. The services were held under the auspices of the Odd Fellows.
