She and Jack Poston were married in December 1921 at Bonners Ferry. He died in 1946.
The couple made their home at Potlatch, where he worked for Potlatch Forests Inc., now Potlatch Corp. She worked for Potlatch during World War II and for the U.S. Post Office for a time. She was a grocery clerk at the Potlatch Mercantile from 1947 to 1963. She worked for the next six years at Trueman's Thrift Store in the Potlatch mall, retiring in 1969.
She married Earl Rector on Aug. 18, 1958, at Palouse. They lived in Potlatch, where he worked for Potlatch Corp. He died in 1966.
She moved to Latah Health Services about four years ago.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Missouri but attended the Presbyterian Church at Potlatch.
She belonged to the Rebekah Lodge, the Royal Neighbors, the Banner Club, and the Birthday Club, all at Potlatch. She was a charter member and organizer of the Potlatch Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a son, Larry Poston of Omak, Wash.; four daughters, Zoe J. Strom of Bayview, Idaho; Lorraine Cann and Patricia L. Hill of Libby, Mont.; Loretta Vowels of Princeton, Idaho; a halfsister, Colleen Berger of Westport, Wash.; 22 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two sons, James and Bruce Poston; a daughter, Eunice J. Getz;, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church at Potlatch. The Rev. Gerard Kuiper of that church will officiate. Burial will follow at the Moscow Cemetery.
