Chester W. Plessinger, 89, of Needmore, died Tuesday morning, March 14, 1978 at the Fulton County Medical Center.
Born in Needmore, he was a son of Oliver and Alice Garland Plessinger. He was a retired employee of the Union Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs, Katherine E. Younker Plessinger; daughters: Mrs. Vera E. Berk of Cross Hill, S.C. and Mrs. Nellie F. O'Rourke of North Huntingdon, Pa.; a son, Floyd W. Plessinger of Apollo, Pa.; and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, March 16, at 2:00 P.M. at the Grove Funeral Home in Hancock. The Rev. Delmas Bard officiated. Burial was made in Cedar Grove United Church of Christ Cemetery near Dott.
