PLESSINGER, Mary Alice (Garland)
Mrs. Mary Alice (Garland) Plessinger, wife of Oliver Plessinger of Needmore, Pa.,died at her home early Tuesday morning after a lingering illness of more than two years.
The deceased was a daughter of the late Lemuel and Henrietta (Truax) Garland and was born November 15, 1862 being aged 76 years 10 Months and 16 days at the time of death.
Mrs. Garland was a kind and loving Christian woman and was held in high esteem by her many friends and neighbors.
She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, one son Chester of Pittsburgh and one daughter Ada at home. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Jane Mellott of Dover, Pa.; Samantha Morgan of Boswell, Ind,; Joseph Garland of Needmore, and Aaron P. Garland, also of Needmore, Pa. Three grand children and one great grand child survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Burial will be made in the Cedar Grove cemetery.
