Well known equine sculptor, artist and writer, Gladys Brown was an expert on the Arabian horse. She was long associated with the W. H. Kellogg ranch in Pomona, California. For many years, her works were used as trophies by the Arabian Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. Most of her sculptures were produced by the Dodge Foundry in Los Angeles, CA from the mid-1930s onward.
