8 Nov 1935 - J. L. Dees, age 75 years, two months and 12 days, died at his home in Many 7 a.m. Monday.
Funeral services were at Calvary Baptist church 3 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. E. C. Harris officiating. Interment in Many cemetery under the direction of Green's Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives are the widow; one son, Eugene, and six daughters, Mrs. J. W. Aldredge, Many; Mrs. D. E. Tally, Many; Mrs. T. M. Aldredge, Natchitoches; Mrs. J. W. Simpson, El Dorado, Ark,; Mrs. Jack Muse, Many and Mrs. G. H. Simpson, Many; one brother, Curt Dees and one sister, Mrs. Geo. Smith, both of Fort Jesup.
