Eugene Dees, 78, of Many, died Sunday morning, Sept. 12, in a Many hospital, after a long illness.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, in the Alford Heights Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brent Flemming, and Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Survivors include his widow; four sons, Jimmy Dees, Ted Dees, J. L. Dees, and Roland Dees, all of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Eula Wyatt of Belmont, and Mrs. Essie Simpson of Many; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Clariste Byles, James R. Muse, Reo Wright, Floyd Lopez, Phil Salter, Troy Britt, Norman Deckens, and Buddy Dees.
