Julia (Julie) A. Jernigan Booher, 61, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2004. She died of cancer at home. Julie was born August 7, 1942, in Pace, Florida. She was retired from a 38-year career at the Pensacola News Journal. She was a quiet, reserved person who enjoyed cooking, gardening and growing roses. She made her life of sharing her art. Preceded in death by: parents, Gasque Curtis Jernigan and Virginia Ivey Jernigan of Pace, Florida. Survived by: husband of 35 years, Robert (Bobby) Booher, Jr. and their daughter Ivey Morgan Booher Williams. Julie has four sisters, Molly Jane Ward of Milton, Pat Price of DeFuniak Springs, Hester Courtney of Milton and a younger sister Myra Hughes of Milton. Arrangements by Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
