Mrs. Hoy was the wife of George L. Hoy, who survives.
A daughter of John S. and Arah Blanche Wiley Headley, she was born April 24, 1901, at Pine Bank, where she resided during the early part of her life. She later made her home for several years at Elizabeth, and for the past 10 years had resided near Rutan.
Mrs. Hoy was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, the WSCS of the church, the Pine Bank Pythian Sisters, Harveys Grange No. 1444, Greene Co., Pomona Grange No. 63, and the Pa. State Grange.
Surviving in addition to her husband, whom she married Oct 25, 1919, are a daughter, Mrs. Jack V. Smith of Waynesburg; a son, David of Waynesburg, R. D. 4, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Two sons, two brothers and three sisters are deceased.
