Charley (sic) Calahan, 79, a former resident of this community died at his home in Deshler last Wednesday morning following a long illness. The immediate family survivors are his wife Ruby; son Don of Carleton; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Clark of Nampa, Idaho, and Mrs. Vera Crow of Caldwell, Ida. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Deshler Saturday with the Rev. Jerrold Aspengren in charge. Interment was in the Deshler cemetery (sic).
