NEW ALBANY - LESLIE THOMPSON, 77, of 223 W. Eighth St., died Wednesday at Floyd County Memorial Hospital. He was a native of LaRue County, Ky., and a retired employee of Hoosier Panel Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Estelle Hoback; five sons, David Sr., Benny, Joe, Lester and Leonard Thompson; five daughters, Mrs. Nancy Gresham of Lanesville, Mrs. Mary L. Underwood of Kentucky, Mrs. Bessie M. Hunt of Michigan, Mrs. Patricia A. Sexton and Louise M. Thompson; a brother, Charles Thompson of Hodgenville, Ky.; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brownfield-Jenkins Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with burial in Rolling Fork Cemetery there. Visitation at Seabrook Funeral Home will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at Brownfield-Jenkins after 4 p.m. Friday.
