Lizzie Glancy, 79, of Milton, WV., passed away Monday January 23, 2012, at her residence.

She was born September 28, 1932, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Willis and Lade Legg Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Glancy, one daughter, Doris Moore, sisters, Garnett Smith, Alma Jenkins and Ruth Flora, and one brother, Rudolph Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Dreama Tackitt and caregiver, of Milton, Ann and Gary Hand of SC., Kay Hysell and Bruce of Ona, Deven and Vinson Clagg of Ona, Karen and Larry Hicks of Huntington, sons, Roy and Judy Glancy of Milton, Buster Hysell and Pam of Milton, James Hysell and Angie of Milton, sister-in-law, Phyllis Smith of Milton, several grandchildren and great- grandchildren and a very special grandson, Patrick Hysell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Rev. Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
