Mrs. Eleanor Harper White, 61, died Thursday evening at her American Fork home of Reynaud's disease following a stroke three years ago. Mrs. White, wife of George F. White, was born in Summit County, Nov. 27, 1870, a daughter of Charles A. and Harriet Harper. Her father was among the first pioneers to settle in Salt Lake.
She married Feb 17, 1897, to George F. White. Besides her husband she is survived by six children; Merrill, Kenneth, and Mark of American Fork, and by Miss Alice White, Miss Dorice White, and Mrs. Francis J. Pholman of Salt Lake; eight grandchildren, three half brothers and one half sister: Charles, Chester, and Park Harper, and Mrs. William Walker.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at American Fork. Friends may call at the home of her son Merrill White of American Fork, between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
