BARTONVILLE - Hank Roberts, 78, of 3920 Granville Road died at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center.
Born Aug. 20, 1921, in Golconda to Gus and Minnie Volley Roberts, he married F. Louise Burgess on June 20, 1946, in Mayfield, Ky. She died June 8, 1997, in Pekin.
Surviving are two sons, Steve (and Pat) Roberts of Hanna City and Mike (and Karen) Roberts of Pekin; two sisters, Ina Gray of Bartonville and Katherine Baggett of Marion; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He worked at Keystone Steel and Wire as a wire drawer for 36 years, retiring in 1986.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 979.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Endsley Funeral Home, Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Chaplains at Methodist Medical Center.
