Sarah "Sadie" Kline Thompson-Myers resided in Armstrong County all of her life. Sadie was married to Charles R. Thompson, a clay miner, and they had six children: Laverne, Charles, Sherwood, June, George and Anna Mae. Charles passed away and Sadie later married Wade Hampton Myers, a house painter, and they had three children, Wendell, Harry and Ronald.
Sadie was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Thompson and Wade Myers. She was also predeceased by her son, Charles K. Thompson, and her daughter, Anna Mae Lemmon, with whom she resided for many years. She was survived by her other children and many grandchildren.
She enjoyed making braided rugs from rags, going to Church and Bingo, and visiting with family.
