FORT WORTH - Lewis Burks, a retired foreman for Blume Tree Service, died Saturday at his Fort Worth home. He was 66.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Burks was born in Canton and had lived in Fort Worth for about 50 years.
He retired from Blume Tree Service in 1988. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors: Wife of 41 years, Ruth Burks of Fort Worth; two sons, Randy Burks of Azle and Jeffery Burks of Haltom City; two daughters, Rhonda Hamedi of Watauga and Melody Bell of Haltom City; mother, Clee Batis of Fort Worth; brother, George Burks of Bend, Ore.; and six grandchildren.
