Ruth Craig Macy, 95, a 53-year resident of Albany, died Monday.
She was born in Ritzville, Wash., to Irene and Ira Julien.
She married Neal E. Craig in 1930 in Corvallis. He died in 1952.
She married Ted Macy in 1968 in Albany. He died in 1999.
Ruth attended Oregon State University, where she was a member of the Tri Delta sorority. She owned Snow Peak Dairy on Third Avenue in Albany. She traveled extensively with husband Ted, wintering in Arizona.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church (choir for 45 years and building committee in the late 1950s and early 1960s), Springhill Country Club Ladies Golf Association (president), Albany General Hospital Auxiliary (served as president in the 1960s), AAUW and Beta Sigma Phi.
She enjoyed duplicate bridge (life master), sewing, ballroom dancing, square dancing, golf and reading.
She is survived by children Patty Dumas of Medford, Dr. Neal Craig of Kona, Hawaii, Cathy Mullen of Lake Oswego and Sue Nedry of Temple, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and brother Robert Julien of California.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands.
Services will be at a later date. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church and Samaritan Evergreen Hospice.
