Succumbs- Edward Anthon; 92, of Springville who died Saturday. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Springville Second-Eighth Ward Chapel.

Retired Brick Mason Dies at 92

SPRINGVILLE-Funeral services for Edward Anthon, 92, who died Saturday in Wenatchee, Wash., will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Springville Second-Eighth LDS Ward Chapel.

A brick mason by trade, Mr. Anthon had worked on many public buildings and homes in the Springville area. He was a native of Sweden, coming to this country at the age of 12 with his parents, who were LDS converts.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter, Foster Anthon and Mrs. Elvin (Belle) Sumsion of Springville; Ross Anthon of Magna, and Ted Anthon of Wenatchee, Wash.; the following step-children, Mrs. Vessa Johnson of Spanish Fork; Neil Hood of Salt Lake Cityu; Mrs. Carrie Hansen of Palmyra; Mrs. Emily Liddiard of Provo; Stein Donaldson of Roy; Mrs. Fannie Grover and Mrs. Amy Grover, both of California; 21 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Bishop Richard K. Miner of the Second Ward Will Officiate at services. Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday after 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
