and died on Dec. 2, 1839, in
Berrien County Michigan.

m. July 12, 1840, in Buchanan, Michigan,
to Catherine Martindale.
They had 8 children, including:
(1.) Charles Babcock, b. 1843.
(2.) Malissa Babcock, b. 1845.
(3.) James Babcock, b. 1848.
(4.) Jerome Babcock, b. 1850.
(5.) Ellen Babcock, b. 1852.
(6.) Loynette Babcock, b. 1857.
(7.) Alma Babcock, b. 1860.
Anson and his wife came to Niles twp.
Berrien County Michigan in 1855, and
then moved to Marquette, MI in 1859.

m. Dec. 24, 1840, to Albert G. Hunter.
d. March 30, 1848, in Berrien Co. MI.
Buried: Benton Cemetery, North of
Buchanan, Berrien County Michigan.
She shares a headstone with her mother.

b. March 18, 1820, in New York State.
m. Dec. 14, 1842,
to Elizabeth Jane Chelson.
d. April 1, 1890.
(Note: There is a Hiram M. Babcock,
born in 1853, who is buried in the
Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, MI.
Could this be his son?)
