Clarence is a son of Benjamin Pitner BISHOP and Anna N. GREINEISON. He was born in Lomira township.
He married Eva Elizabeth KNORR, daughter of Henry KNORR and Elzora Dell HALL of Beaver Dam. The Bishop children include Clarence, Robert, Patsy Ann, Donna Mae and Ronald.
CLARENCE BISHOP DIES AFTER PROLONGED ILLNESS
NEENAH –Clarence Bishop 47, of 438 West North Water Street, died at Theda Clark Hospital Friday evening after a prolonged illness.
Mr. Bishop was born Sept. 9, 1904, at Lomira, Wis., and lived in Beaver Dam before coming to Neenah in 1943. He was employed by Marathon Corporation.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva Bishop; three sons, Clarence Jr., and Ronald both at home, and Pvt. Robert Bishop, Camp Rucker, Ala.; two daughters, Patricia and Donna Mae, both at home; and two sisters, Mrs. George Kolb of Hartford and Mrs. Arthur Boushon, Beaver Dam.
Funeral arrangements have not been made as yet. The body is at the Kessler funeral home, where friends may call after 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
