The following obituary appeared in "The Indiana Gazette" (Indiana, PA) on Monday, February 28, 1994, page 7 column 2:

VERNIE L. BRINK SUNDERLIN KOPYLEC, 90, of Glen Campbell, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 1994, at Glenwood Convalescent Home, Glen Campbell.

The daughter of Anthony Brink and Josephine Brink Falisec [sic] Wolenski, she was born Aug. 8, 1903, in Glen Campbell RD 1.

A housewife, Mrs. Kopylec was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Glen Campbell, where she was a member of the Rosary Society.

Surviving are six children: Harry Sunderlin, Westover; Robert Sunderlin, Glen Campbell; Thomas Sunderlin, Cleveland, Ohio; Charles Sunderlin, Burnside; Josephine Williams, Girard, Ohio; and Mrs. Joseph (Jane) Zernic, South Euclid, Ohio; 32 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Janocha, Glen Campbell RD 1.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles Sunderlin; her second husband, George Kopylec; one son, Raymond Sunderlin; and the following brothers and sisters: Edward, John, Stanley and William Brink; Henry, Joseph, Harry and Anthony Falisec [sic]; Anna Sherman and Martha Kobesko.

Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Albert E. Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, where a wake service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Glen Campbell, with the Rev. Terry Hercik as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
