Josephine was born in Poland. She married Anthony Brink ca. 1886 in the old country. The family immigrated to America in 1889.

Per the 1900 census, Josephine was born in January 1867. On the August 1908 birth certificate of her son, Joseph Faliszek, she stated that she was 42 years old, thus born in January 1866. According to the federal census records, she progressively got younger as time passed. Her gravestone reports a birth year of 1872.

Anthony and Josephine Brink were the parents of ten children:

4. Stanley John Brink
