Charles Arthur Chew, Jr., 67, Reisterstown R-D- 3, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1965, at Fort Howard Veterans Hospital, Baltimore. He was a World War I veteran, serving as a sergeant. He was wounded at the Battle of Verdun.
Mr. Chew was a son of the late Charles A. and Fanny Taylor Chew and husband of the late Myrtle Iris Chew, who died in 1957. He is survived by four children, Mrs. George Hahn and Mrs. Paul Petry, Westminster; Mrs. Elizabeth Twigg, Chicago, III., and Mrs. Charles Bosley, with whom he resided; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Dryden, Westminster; Mrs. John Hanna, Mrs. Marie Anderson and Mrs. Irene Prebble, Baltimore; 16 grand-children and slid five great-grandchildren
