Charles Oliver Chew died at his home at Carrollton on Saturday night following a short illness. He was the son of Mrs. Sarah Uhler Chew and the late John Albert Chew. Besides his mother, there survives his wife, Mrs. Anna Chew, and eight children: Carroll, California; Charles, Westminster; Montrose, Chester, and Mrs. Clayton Green, all of Carrollton; Mrs. William Manning, Marie, and Irene, at home. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm from the late residence. The Rev Clarence O Sullivan will have charge of the services. Burial will be made in Bethel Cemetery. Harvey Bankard and Son are the funeral directors.
Funeral services for Charles Oliver Chew who died Saturday night at his home, Bethel Road, near Reese, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence. The Rev. Clarence O. Sullivan, pastor of the Carrollton Church of God, officiated. Interment was made in the Carrollton Church of God cemetery. The pallbearers were: Edward Russell, Marion Taylor, William Lockard, Bertie Taylor, Claude Leister, and Raymond Blizzard.
