My grandfather, Loyd Steven Ford was the child of Laura H. Ford 1865-1939 and William Owenby born abt 1860. They were married in Cocke County, TN in 1882. William died in an accident soon after Loyd was born.

Loyd's first wife was Sarah Alice Raines who died about 1919 in Cocke County, Tennessee. She was mother of Laura born 1910 who died before 1915, James Isaac and Gladys Ardell Ford.

Death certificate incorrectly shows his father as Will Gunter. Death certificate and headstone also spell his name Lloyd. His name was actually spelled Loyd

Loyd Ford first married Sarah Alice Raines Nov 7, 1909 in Cocke Co., TN. His second marriage was to Martha Cagle on Aug 11, 1923 in Cocke Co., TN.
