Carrie married Thomas Franklin "Frank" Sipe (brother to Margaret Ellen Sipe who married her brother, William 'Charles' Moore) on 02 November 1899 in Louisa County, Iowa.

She and Frank had 5 children, Arthur Moore Sipe, Everett Alexander Sipe, Mildred Emmaline Sipe, Marion Lucille Sipe and Gertrude Melissa Sipe.

They had moved to Eugene (Ward 4), Lane County, Oregon by 1910 and Meadow Point (Meeker Precinct), King County, Washington by 1920.

Carrie and Frank divorced sometime between 1920 and 1927.

Thomas Sipe was living in California in 1927 when his sister, Maggie (Sipe) Moore died.

She married Peter Rasmussen on Nov. 29, 1928 in Kent. Peter's 1st wife, Olga died in 1926.

She and her sister, Melissa, cared for their sick brother, Charles, until his death in 1937.
