Dorothy L. Mayer, daughter of Mr. Allen & Eva (Aunt) Allen was born July 27, 1926 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
She passed away Wednesday morning, January 11, 2012 in the Anthony Community Care Center at Anthony at the age of eighty-five years.
On July 8, 1954, Dorothy was united in marriage with Ralph Mayer in the Assembly of God Church at Cheney, Kansas and to this union three children were born, Roberta, Wilson Lee, and Howard Ross.
The family made their home in Cheney and later Anthony for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph on April 17, 2009; and a daughter-in-law: Catherine Mayer.
Dorothy will be missed by her children: Roberta Fuqua and her husband, Bryan of Harper, Wilson Lee Mayer and Howard Ross Mayer, both of Goddard, KS; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three sisters: Frances, Norma Jean & Barbara all of Wichita; other relatives and friends.
