On July 8, 1954, he was united in marriage with Dorothy Allen at the Assembly of God Church in Conway Springs. They were blessed with fifty four years of marriage.
Ralph worked at the Santa Fe Railroad, and then later as operator of the Cheney Co-op.
He was a member of the Conway Springs Baptist Church.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, twelve siblings and a daughter in law, Catherine Mayer.
He leaves behind his wife, Dorothy of Anthony; daughter: Roberta Fuqua and her husband Bryan of Harper; sons: Wilson Lee Mayer and Howard Ross Mayer, both of Goddard, KS; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a brother: Harold Mayer of Seattle, WA and many other relatives and friends.
