Floyd “Frog” Dixon, 82, of Dayton, died March 10, in Home Hospital. For the past two weeks, Mr Dixon had been a patient at Mulberry Lutheran Home. He was born on September 5, 1916, in Adair County, Kentucky, and moved to Dayton in 1936. Mr Dixon married Lola M Whitlock on September 6, 1938, in Lafayette. She survives. He was employed by Brown Rubber for 30 years, and later at the Dayton Lumber company for 20 years until his retirement. During World War II, Mr Dixon had served in the Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post,11, and Dayton Memorial Presbyterian Church. Along with his wife, Mr Dixon is survived by a sister, Bernice Keyes of Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. Soller-Baker Funeral Home handled arrangements with the Rev Stanley Bomgarden officiating. Interment Wyandotte cemetery with the American Legion Post 11 conducting grave-sides services. Memorials can be made to the Dayton Memorial Presbyterian Church or the Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
