Nathaniel's parents are unknown to me. There is solid proof that he was born "at sea" while his parents were en-route to America. Documented by his various children's census records.
About 1807 he married Sarah Tyler Kent, daughter of Rev. Timothy and Lucy Beeman Tyler. Their marriage was blessed with sons; Andrew, Charles, Henry and Nathaniel Jr., daughters; Anna, Mary, Twins Lousia and Lovisa, Amelia and Sarah.
