Sharon Denise Greene, "Squeaky" was born May 3, 1957, to the union of Ollie Virgil Blackwell, Jr and Annabell Greene. She was the youngest of five children.
Sharon attended Phyllis Wheatly Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School, class of 1975. She also attended Penn Valley Community College.
In June 1977, Sharon enlisted in the United States Army and served her country for three years. Upon being honorably discharged, Sharon served in the Reserves. She was employed with the Internal Revenue Service for over twenty-five years as a Customer Service Representative, (GSA 8). While at the IRS she was a Union Steward for NTEU. She was also a member of the Heartland CFC Eagle Club. Social Awareness Team and Federal Sponsored Fitness Program, which she would lovingly call the "Fat Class." Sharon contributed to many different federal charitable programs. At the IRS she was known as a computer guru and everybody's pal.
Sharon departed this life on Monday, January 9 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Ollie Jr., mother Annabell and sister, Mary Frances Greene. Survived by brothers Ollie Green, Michael "Mickey" Green both of Kansas City, Missouri and Walter Green of Des Monies, Iowa; nephew, Randolph Andrew Greene of Kansas City, Missouri; two special friends, Jan Grafton and Martha King and a host of relatives and special friends.
