Mrs. Edith Tobleman, 75, a native of Galveston, died Wednesday at Galveston County Memorial Hospital in Texas City. Devotional services will be held at 7:30 pm at J. Levey Funeral Home in Galveston. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Vernon Rabel officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery.

Mrs. Tobleman was born March 20, 1899 in Galveston. She has been a resident at Manor Care Nursing Home in Texas City for the past nine months. A retired practical nurse, Mrs. Tobleman was also a member of the First Lutheran Church of Galveston.

Survivors include her husband, Norman C. Tobleman, Sr. of Texas City; two sons, Norman C. Tobleman Jr. of La Marque and William T. Tobleman of La Marque; five daughters, Mrs. A.C. Schaper and Mrs. E. L. Wood, both of Galveston, Mrs. K.H. Giusti of League City, Mrs. D. N. Faulkner Jr. of Houston and Mrs. W. J. Albright of Sugarland; 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Norman Tobleman, Ronald Tobleman, David Faulkner, Ralph Albright, Kenneth Giusti Jr., and A. C. Sharper Jr. Visitors may call al the funeral home after 12 noon Thursday.
