Funeral services for S. Sgt. Duane Bailey, 30, of Weurzburg, Germany, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kilpatrick’s Funeral Home with full military rites. Burial will follow at the Crossroads Cemetery near Rocky Branch.
Sgt. Bailey died Tuesday in an automobile accident in Germany. He had been stationed there with the U.S. Army since 1970.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs Angelika Bailey; one son, Kai Bailey; one daughter, Skarlett Bailey, all of Wellsburg, Germany; his father, Pete Bailey of Farmerville; one sister, Peggy Dixon of Sterlington; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Grace Porter of Highland, Calif.; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ada Bailey of Rocky Branch.
