She passed away on August 24, 1951, at the Hastings Mary Lanning Hospital, at the age of 19, where she was being treated for a congenital heart condition. Marilyn graduated from Harvard High School in the Class of 1950. Her survivors include her parents Walter and Herta Frank, her brother Clyde Frank, and sisters Verla Frank and Beulah Wagner. Services were held on Tuesday at the United Church of Christ in Harvard, and burial was at the Harvard cemetery with Alberding Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
