AIKEN - James C. Rodgers died Thursday.
Born in Aiken County, he was a son of Mrs. Bessie Whittle Rodgers and the late Claude Rodgers. He was retired supervisor of Hickman Division at Graniteville Co. and a member of Aiken First Baptist Church, a member and pastt Worshipful Masterr of Aiken Masonic Lodge No. 158, AFM, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of York Rite Bodies.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Key Rodgers; a son Roger D. Rodgers of Aiken; his mother of Aiken; sisters, Mrs. Ellen Peters of Columbia and Mrs. Eletha Crabtree, Mrs. Gladys Hahn and Mrs. Doris George of Aiken; and grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Aiken First Baptist Church with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Easter Seal Society.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at George Funeral.
