George Bahan
LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. -- George W. Bahan, 86, of Round Lake Heights, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Winchester House in Libertyville.

He was born on Aug. 27, 1921, in Bennington, Vt., to George R. and Hazel (Tryon) Bahan. On Oct. 18, 1981 in Grayslake, Ill., George married Nancy Elwell Kim.

Survivors include his step-daughter, Cynthia K. (Brian D.) Beglin of Bronxville, N.Y.; two step-grandchildren; and two nieces, Joleine Bahan Schneider and Dawn Bahan. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nancy E. Bahan, who passed away on Oct. 13, 2005.

George was a veteran in the Air Force and was an electrical supervisor for many years.

A private family burial will take place at a private family plot in Vermont at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in George's name to the United Protestant Church, 54 S. Whitney St., Grayslake, Ill. 60030.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL.
