OBITUARY 11-4-1921 Anderson News Review.
Silas Beason was born in Greene county,Ohio in 1849 and died at his home in Anderson October 29, 1921, at the age of 72 years, six months and sixteen days.
In 1870 he was married to Sarah Jane Clark. To this union seven children were born. Only two children with the aged mother survive They are Mrs. J. F. Curry of Furgerson, Iowa, and Mrs. Nora Elliff of Anderson, route 2. He leaves twenty grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a number of friends and relatives to mourn his death.
Mr. Beason and family moved to Anderson some twenty years ago from Iowa, while here he made many friends.
Funeral services were held in the home Sunday afternoon at one o'clock. Services were conducted by John Kirby. Interment was made in the Anderson Cemetery.
