Farris A Fraley, age 84, of Westwood, KY, died Sunday, Jan 18, 2004, in Kingsbrook Life Care Center in Ashland KY. Mr. Fraley was born Jul 1, 1919 in Ashland, a son of the late Adam and Cynthia Fraley. He was also preceded in death by a twin brother, Paris Fraley and three sisters, Zella, Virginia and Freda. He retired in 1981 as a foreman with Chillicothe Boilermakers local 105. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Alkia Tackett Fraley of Westwood; four daughters, Wanda (Harold) Bryant of Coal Grove, Ohio, Delores (Kenny) Snider of Columbus, Ohio, and Sandra Moore and Crystal (Michael) Briscoe all of Ashland; five grandchildren, Sarah (John) Fleetwood of Savannah, GA, Michael (Julie) Fette of Lancaster, Ohio, Matthew (Kelley) Snider of Columbus, Melanie (Ryan) Peterson of Marysville, Ohio, and Shelley Datcher of Ashland, whom he helped rear; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Toby Fraley, John Fraley, and Sonny Fraley all of Ashland and three sisters, Nancy Adkins of Argillite, KY; Alberta McDowell of Ceredo WV and Thelma Jean Fraley of Ashland. The funeral will be held at 11am Wednesday, Jan 21 2004 at Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Lloyd Baldridge and the Rev. Ed Myers. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6-9 tonight, Jan 20, 2004 at the funeral home. Pallbears will be Harold Bryant, Michael Fette, Matthew Snider, Kenny Snider, Michael Briscoe and Ryan Peterson.
