He is survived by his wife Barbara Chavez Salazar five daughters, Sally Molina and husband, Lee of Albuquerque, Dolores Armijo and husband, Robert of Bibo, NM, Mary Salazar, Barbara T. Salazar and David Borrego, and Anna Pacheco and George Garcia, all of Albuquerque; five sons, Isidro"Sonny" Salazar and wife, Alice of Bibo, NM, Eloy Salazar and wife, Sadie, Billy Salazar, and Leonard Salazar and wife, Teri, all of Albuquerque and Abelino Salazar and wife, Livinia of Las Cruces; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren;
His siblings were: Eremita, Flor de Maria, Senovia, Candelaria, Socorrita, Premia and Trinidad.
Vidal passed away in Albuquerque at the age of 81.
