"Mrs. Ollie Bartley Passes Away At 89"
Mrs. Ollie Bartley, age 89, widow of the late H. T. Bartley, passed away Sunday, October 5, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hodge Claiborne of Jacksboro Pike. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are: daughters, Mrs. Hodge Claiborne, Mrs. Bill Queener, and Mrs. Mether Wood of Jacksboro and Mrs. Don Claiborne of LaFollette; sons, Roy and Hobart G. Bartley of Jacksboro and Archie Bartley of Barberton, Ohio; a foster daughter, Mrs. Harold Robinson of Clyde, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Trent of Rose Hill, Virginia, and Mrs. Susie Moore of Gallatin, Tennessee; 36 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 7 at Jacksboro Methodist Church with the Rev. J. A. Freeman and the Rev. Ralph Cline officiating. Interment was in Jacksboro Cemetery. Cross and Berry Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge.
