Funeral services for Mr. Edward Bryant will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Colfax United Pentecostal Church with Brothers Wayne Setliff and Jimmy Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Colfax. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Mr. Bryant, 57, of Colfax, died Monday, January 2, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Bryant was a deck captain for Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel and a member of Colfax United Pentecostal Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard "Sonny Boy" and Etta Quant Bryant; brothers, David and Clifford Bryant; and a sister, Donna Lou Setliff.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Gayle Bryant; son, David Bryant and wife Holly; daughters, Sonya B. Ryan and husband Bill, and Leanne B. McLeod and husband Jessy; sisters, Rachel Honeycutt and husband Steve and Susan Witt and husband Butch; grandchildren, Dalton Ryan, Megan Ryan, Caroline Bryant, Kamden Bryant, Alyssa McLeod, and Koalton McLeod; and honorary grandchild, Chelsey Mouser.

Pallbearers will be Terrial Normand, Robert Newton, Steven Honeycutt, Jr., Dakota Honeycutt, Nathan McLaughlin, Charles Witt, David Witt, and Jessy McLeod.
