She was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Knox County. She lived in Lubbock from 1928 until Feb. 20, 1999, when she moved to Idalou. She married Frank T. Gumm on Nov. 1, 1941. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1977. She was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1929.
Survivors include a sister, Minnie Mae Fulton of Denver; and two brothers, Lewis Hefner and Norval Hefner, both of Lubbock.
