Services for Norval Hefner, 76, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Robertson officiating.
Burial will be in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
He died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at University Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 25, 1923, in Slaton. He graduated from Smyer High School in 1942. He married Bobbie Lane on Nov. 15, 1942, in Muleshoe. They moved to Lubbock in 1945. He was a carpenter and owned and operated Hefner Cabinet and Trim Shop until retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and the local carpenter's union.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Pete of Lubbock; a daughter, Charlene Womack of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Lewis O. of Lubbock; a sister, Minnie Mae Fulton of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren.
