Margaret L. "Peg" Miller, 85, formerly of Cheyenne, died at Bickford Cottage in Davenport, Iowa, Friday, Aug. 15, 2008.
Following cremation, a private family memorial service will be in Cheyenne at a future date.
Memorials may be made to Bickford Cottage, Heartland Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association. The Runge Mortuary is assisting the family with final arrangements.
She was born July 22,1923, in Laramie, the daughter of Thomas and Gertrude Carroll. Upon her graduation from the University of Wyoming, she was employed as a dietician until her marriage to Ray Walter "Walt" Miller on Sept.19, 1945, in Denver, Colo.
He preceded her in death on Jan. 21,2005. Survivors include four daughters and their spouses, Monica Miller, Lindy and Steve Rice, Libby and Vince Honts and Carolee Miller; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Michael Patrick Carroll.
