Funeral rites for Mrs. Ole J. Kulsethmoe, beloved pioneer of this community, were conducted at the Nidaros Lutheran Church Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. G. Aarstad officiating. Special music included two hymns by a mixed quartet and a ladies duet. The floral offerings were very beautiful and testified of the high esteem of the departed one.

A month ago Mrs. Kulsethmoe became critically ill from a liver ailment at her home in Deering and was taken to Trinity Hospital in Minot where she passed away peacefully April 15, 1936.

Survivors are the husband, one son, Alvin J. of Portland, Oregon; five daughters, Mrs. Geo. B. Wedin, Grantsburg, Wis., Mrs. Roy Tollefson, Makoti, Mrs. G.O. Skarstad, Velva, Mrs. Ramon Olson, Glenburn, and Miss Norma, at home.

Also surviving are four sisters; Mrs. F.X. Klein, Minneapolis, Mrs. Minnie Anderson, Duluth, Mrs. A.A. Bursau, Detroit Lakes, Minn., Mrs. R.W. Kirkpatrick, Conrad, Montana, and four brothers; Arthur Marum of Glenburn, Sam of Tampa, Fla., Helmer and Louis of Baden, N.D., where the step-father, John Trulson, also resides. There are four grandchildren.

Sena Marum, the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Marum, was born in Grant County, S. Dak. Her marriage to Ole J. Kulsethmoe took place April 12, 1902, and soon after they came to North Dakota to reside on their homestead adjoining the Wolseth townsite.

Prominent in community affairs, they were active in organizing of the local church and more recently donated the site for the local school house.

Mrs. Kulsethmoe was a devoted wife and mother; a kind and unselfish neighbor, and a faithful Christian worker in the church and Sunday school.

She has endeared herself to a multitude by kindly administering to the sick and assisting in time of sorrow and her memory will be blessed for her good deeds.

To the bereaved ones, this community extends sincerest condolence.
