Rena Rose Meador Thompson, 82, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 6, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Mason Thompson. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Seay, Blue Ridge; two sisters, Lula Meador, Goodview, Lillian Hale, Hardy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Arlene Meador, Moneta, Calvin and Idell Meador, Hardy; a sister-in-law, Thelma Meador, Moneta. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, 1999 at Lotz Vinton Chapel, with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Oylers Church Cemetery, Hardy. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
