Gwen Dillard
Services for Gwen Dillard, 52, of Edgewood were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bartley Funeral Home Chapel with Homer Morgan officiating.

Burial will follow at Sand Flat Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Grand Saline.

Mrs. Dillard died Sept. 21, 2000, in Grand Saline.

She was born July 30, 1948, in Dallas.

Mrs. Dillard lived in Northeast Texas most of her life.

She lived in Edgewood seven years.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and a store manager for the Texaco in Edgewood.

She was a member of Van Zandt Senior Citizens Club.

She was preceded in death by her father, E.L. "Red" Netherland, in 1994.

Survivors include husband, Sam Dillard of Edgewood; mother, Bernice Netherland Magill of Edgewood; sons, Rocky Reeves of Malakoff, John Dillard of Edgewood and Joey Dillard of Texarkana, Ark.; daughters, DeAnn Washington of Edgewood and Melissa Bryant of Texarkana; brothers, Rickey Netherland of Grand Saline and Danny Netherland of Kilgore; sisters, Teresia Sprague of Fruitvale and Brenda Oliver of Fruitvale; and three grandchildren, Tommy Washington, Nick Bryant and Matthew Dillard.

Pallbearers will be Michael Voyles, Jamison Titus, Barry Rosemand, Wendell Phillips, Tommy Copeland, Don Rose and Jim Attaberry.
