Mary L. (Brita) Maniotes, 79, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she worked as a clerk with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for 25 years. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughters, Denise Brita, Tina Maniotes, both of Fort Wayne; sons, Bernard (Ellen) Brita, James (Maria) Brita, both of Ft. Wayne; brother, Joseph (Alice) Barile of Ft. Wayne; sisters, Freda Gabriel, Anna (Tom) Jones, both of Ft. Wayne; grandchildren, Susan Brita, Sean Rickoff, Dominic Brita, Alexandria Brita, Mike Burrey, Kristina Hickman, Melody Martinez, all of Fort Wayne; great grandchildren, Aaron & Allen Rickoff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic & Mary Barile, husband, Joseph Brita, brothers, Arthur & Dominic Barile, sister, Antoinette Holmes. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Wednesday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fr. Polycarp Fernando officiating, with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also, 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, vigil at 4:45 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
