Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Frieda worked as a greeter with Meijer in Chapel Ridge for the past 19 years. She was a member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and loved spending time with her family and co-workers, known for her wonderful pasta, an avid bowler for many years and a big Notre Dame Football fan .
Surviving are her sons, Richard C Gabriel Jr. of Chicago, John (Alisa) Gabriel and Joseph M. (Bethany) Gabriel both of Roanoke, IN and Ron E. Gabriel of South Barrington, IL; daughter, Gina M. Gabriel of Fort Wayne, IN; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grand children; sister, Anna (Tom) Jones of Fort Wayne; brother, Joseph (Alice) Barile of Fort Wayne; sister in law, Melveena Gabriel of Fort Wayne.
Frieda was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Mary Barile, husband, Richard C Gabriel, daughter, Victoria L Gabriel, brothers, Dominic and Arthur Barile, sisters, Mary Lou Maniotes and Antonette Holmes.
